Terms of Use
These terms describe the basic conditions for using CopyBox tools and content.
Use of the tools
CopyBox provides free browser-based tools for copying, formatting, and generating text elements. You are responsible for how you use copied text, symbols, emoji, and generated output.
Do not use CopyBox to create spam, impersonation, harassment, deceptive content, or content that violates the rules of another platform.
No guarantee of platform behavior
Unicode characters, emoji, blank spaces, and styled text can render differently across browsers, operating systems, fonts, and apps. CopyBox does not guarantee identical display or acceptance on every platform.
Content and availability
CopyBox may update, remove, or reorganize tools and content to improve quality, accuracy, security, or performance.
The site is provided as a general utility. It is not a substitute for professional advice or platform-specific compliance review.
Optional accounts and synchronization
You can use local CopyBox features without an account. If you sign in, eligible saved text can be synchronized across the number of devices allowed by your plan. Private Notes and sensitive items are excluded from the current cloud sync release.
Synchronization is designed to preserve conflicting edits as separate copies, but you should still keep exports of important content. CopyBox is not a password manager, encrypted secrets vault, or guaranteed archival backup service.
Account settings provide a cloud-data export, an option to end all cloud sessions, and self-service deletion of the account and associated cloud records. Deleting the cloud account does not clear local browser storage by default, so local copies must be removed separately if you also want them deleted from a device.
Plans, quotas, and future paid features
The Free plan currently includes up to 500 synchronized text items and 2 connected devices. Plus and Pro limits and prices may be displayed for planning, but checkout and paid billing are not enabled until CopyBox explicitly provides an active purchase flow.
References to image storage describe planned allocations. Image upload and R2 synchronization are not part of the current text-sync release. CopyBox may apply documented item-size, device, storage, fair-use, and abuse-prevention limits to protect service reliability.
